During DVAM 2014, the Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) and the ACF Family Violence Prevention and Services Program (FVPSA) hosted a webinar that started many conversations between child support programs and dv advocates about enhancing safe access to child support services. One theme that has repeatedly been heard from those conversations was a desire for practical steps that states and local programs could take to move beyond the conversation and into action.
For DVAM 2015, OCSE and FPVSA released new resources to provide a roadmap for actions child support and domestic violence programs can take to enhance safe access to child support services and provide ongoing support to collaborations between child support agencies and DV programs/coalitions. This webinar provides an introduction to using those resources and announces the launch of a new Domestic Violence and Child Support Liaisons Network supported by OCSE and FVPSA.
