The ACDVTI tool was developed by the National Center on Domestic Violence, Trauma & Mental Healths Accessing Safety and Recovery Initiative, OVW Ending Violence Against and Abuse of Women with Disabilities Grant 2007-FW-AX-K004, which involved building collaboration among domestic violence programs, community mental health agencies, and state psychiatric hospitals.
