Population Fact Sheet: Hispanics/Latinos

This resource addresses some of the root causes of HIV disparity in the Latino community, and some of the interventions Ryan White programs are using to close the gap. It discusses some of the unique barriers that Latina women face, not only in mitigating risk of HIV (violence, inability to negotiate safe sex, cultural norms, language barriers), but also barriers to staying in care (primary caretaking role, work responsibility).
