General Material
Published Date
January, 2012

"Domestic violence victims who have a traumatic brain injury (TBI) may have difficulty participating in support groups because brain injury can impact behavior and cognitive abilities. Screening for TBI at intake will help advocates identify victims who may need certain accommodations in order to get the most out of the support group experience."
