The Asian Pacific Institute on Gender-Based Violence invites you to join the national summit for cutting-edge analysis and discussion on critical issues and trends affecting immigrant and refugee survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence and harassment, trafficking, abusive international marriages, etc., in API communities.
Who should attend?
- Community-based-organizations serving Asian, Arab, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, trafficking, family violence, and other forms of abuse
- Multi-service agencies advocating for Asian and Pacific Islander communities on a range of issues
- Policy makers and funders addressing gender-based violence, civil rights, civic engagement, language access, housing, economic security, and immigrant and refugee rights affecting APIs
- National domestic violence organizations, state coalitions, technical assistance/training providers
- Bi-cultural and/or bi-lingual front-line staff, community organizers serving API youth, elders, LGBTQ individuals, refugees, immigrants
