Part 2 in a 3-part series on “Assessing Patterns of Coercive Control in Abusive Relationships,” this session expands from analysis and framing to skill-building, practical implications and program implementation. The Northwest Network’s Assessment Tool will be introduced in detail, using advocacy stories and participant exercises. This session will also address the myriad considerations for implementation, including approach & intention, documentation, debriefing, etc relevant for programs who are interested in increasing their competency in serving LGBTQ survivors and integrating a broader practice of assessment into their service delivery.

*participation in “Assessing Patterns of Coercive Control in Abusive Relationships: A Basic Skill for LGBT DV Advocacy” highly encouraged.
