Discourse at the Intersections: HIV and Violence in LGBTQ Relationships

This webinar explores the Northwest Network’s understanding of power and control in intimate relationships as it relates to the context and experiences of survivors and/or partners living with HIV/AIDS. To support creative, effective advocacy solutions presenters will highlight the impacts, vulnerabilities, and barriers LGBTQ, HIV positive/affected individuals face as it relates to domestic violence, systems, and communities. Through discussion and interactive activities, this session seeks to create discourse on the best practices and implications for safety planning with LGBTQ survivors living with or impacted by HIV/AIDS.
