Faith in Action: Sanctuary Training for Faith Leaders

Citizens' Immigration & Refugee Action Committee (CIRAC), with Lancaster Stands Up, is hosting a training by the New Sanctuary Movement of Philadelphia, open to people of all faiths who want their congregation to work with the leadership of immigrant and refugee communities to take action.

This training will include:

  1. Best Practices for physical Sanctuary
  2. Accompaniment
  3. How to start Sanctuary in the Streets raid response
  4. How to coordinate with local and statewide campaigns

Congregational decisions makers and active congregants are encouraged to sign up for this training.

New Sanctuary Movement of Philadelphia builds community across faith, ethnicity, and class in our work to end injustices against immigrants regardless of immigration status, express radical welcome for all, and ensure that values of dignity, justice, and hospitality are lived out in practice and upheld in policy.
