The goal of this training is to allow service providers the opportunity to address the epidemic of sexual violence within LGBT youth. During this training, providers will discuss and address myths surrounds LGBT youth as it relates to sexual abuse. Providers will also learn about social and institutional disparities contribute to barriers for LGBT youth. This training will allow for providers to walk away with promising practices to support LGBT youth who have experienced sexual abuse.
