National Coalition Against Domestic Violence: Best Practice Assessment of Your Civil Protection Order System

This webinar will provide participants with information on a free tool used to assess various parts of the civil protection order system. The tool helps identify areas which need improvement, as well as practices that are working well. This type of assessment engages key actors in the protection order system, such as advocates, law enforcement, courts and attorneys, facilitating discussion and problem solving. Additionally, the tool utilizes a set of best practices identified by experts to ensure that protection order systems are efficient and survivor centered. The tool is appropriate for large or small communities to evaluate part of a civil protection order system or the system in its entirety. We look forward to you joining us.
