The National Resource Center on Domestic Violence, in collaboration with partners from across the Southern region of the United States, invites you to join us for our second virtual Prevention Town Hall on October 28 and 29. This event is an opportunity to dig deeply into this year’s theme for Domestic Violence Awareness Month: No Survivor Justice Without Racial Justice.
- Day 1: Thursday, October 28: Survivor-Centered Prevention
- Day 2: Friday, October 29: Transforming Our Agencies to Center Racial Justice
Building on the momentum from last year’s Prevention Town Hall featuring the East North Central region of the United States, this year's event will explore prevention strategies that center survivors who are most marginalized, uplift grassroots and community-based organizing, honor the leadership of survivors and advocates who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, and promote real transformative change that centers racial justice in our agencies.
