Providing Effective Clinical Supervision

Event Date
Tuesday, November 19, 2019, 10:00AM

This webinar, sponsored by the Florida Alcohol & Drug Abuse Association and the State of Florida, Department of Children and Families, will focus on advanced skills for all major elements of clinical supervision, will describe practical applications for supporting accessible, culturally responsive and trauma-informed services, and will elucidate the supervisor’s role in recognizing and harnessing the “parallel process” for staff growth.

Clinical supervision is the bedrock of sound services. It is a primary tool in supporting organizational wellness, fostering staff growth, attending to compassion fatigue, and nurturing teamwork, ultimately contributing to improved outcomes and satisfaction among staff as well as people accessing services.
