This webinar invites advocates, educators and youth service providers to explore the importance of engaging young Latino men in the gender-based violence prevention movement. Participants will address organizational barriers and learn strategies for leveraging existing organizational resources to bolster youth participation and leadership while discussing and consider the cultural context of mobilizing border communities.
During the webinar, participants will:
- Build the skills to be an effective ally to young people, and to support young people's learning, growth, and leadership in the violence prevention movement.
- Address organizational barriers to Latino males' youth engagement and learn strategies for leveraging existing organizational resources to bolster youth participation and leadership.
- Consider the cultural context of mobilizing border communities and specifically young Latino males.
