Self-Reflection and Racial Justice in Your Work with People Who Cause Harm Through Intimate Partner Violence (Part 2)

Event Date
Wednesday, June 29, 2022, 02:00PM

Enabling a healing, growth, and accountability process for others is only possible as an extension of our own exploration of those factors in our own lives. Everyone is impacted by systems of oppression – white supremacy, heteropatriarchy, settler colonialism, ableism, classism – as well as their own personal experiences of trauma.  And everyone can cause harm.

Building upon the newly revised version of the Guiding Principles for Engagement and Intervention with People Who Cause Harm through Intimate Partner Violence, the Center for Court Innovation will be hosting a two-part webinar series. Each webinar will be a 2-hour interactive session, open to anyone, where participants will engage in dialogue with national experts in incorporating self-reflection and racial justice in abusive partner intervention work.
