What Do I Need to Know about Social Trauma?

Event Date
Friday, May 22, 2020, 01:00PM

Domestic violence is a phenomenon rooted in social trauma. This webinar from the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence will explore:

  • What do we know about the transformation from social trauma to domestic violence? When people are working on the front lines with people who have experienced violence, how does it affect advocates?
  • How do brains impacted by trauma try to cope?
  • What tools do we know about that begin to heal trauma and restore brains that have interfaced with trauma in any form: directly, or anecdotally from stories or reports?
