This document provides a detailed timeline of events related to the battered women's movement ranging from the year 753 B.C. through 1999.

This statewide public awareness campaign collected and evaluated existing awareness materials, developed new materials focused on rural populations, tested creative strategies for distributing materials in rural areas, & compiled a rural resource listing.

The Minnesota Center for Crime Victim Services and the Minnesota Coalition Against Sexual Assault, along with a workgroup of various MN sexual violence prevention organizations, agencies and individuals created this kit to support community sexual violence prevention efforts.
