Just Breathe: A Guide to Wellness was designed with the help of survivors in five domestic violence programs across Ohio, advocates and staff from the Ohio Domestic Violence Network, researchers from Ohio State University, and funding from the Office for Victims of Crime to offer practical assistance, inspiration, hope, and strategies for healing to survivors.
This guide is not meant to be a substitute for domestic violence, mental health, or substance use services, but to be used along with those important ways of getting help. The guide can be used to track progress, practice calming strategies, and provider reminder to take care of the basics throughout the healing journey.
