This 3-part webinar series from Futures Without Violence's Supporting Organizational Sustainability (SOS) Project explores shared leadership models within survivor-serving organizations.

The goal of this initiative is to prepare sacred community leaders, including clergy and lay leaders, to respond to domestic violence within the context of their sacred traditions.

In the U.S., one in three teens experiences dating violence (TDV) – meaning their partner uses behaviors like physical violence, gaslighting, digital harassment, and stalking to gain and maintain control over them. This resource is designed to help parents, caregivers, community members, and professionals support and empower teens by exploring the under-recognized intersection between violence prevention and body liberation and providing dozens of suggestions for a variety of situations.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) provides this guidance to federal, state, local, tribal and territorial law enforcement officers. This public guidance primarily concerns law enforcement certifications for U nonimmigrant status, also known as U visas. The U visa is an immigration benefit that can be sought by victims of certain crimes who are currently assisting or have previously assisted law enforcement in the investigation or prosecution of a crime, or who are likely to be helpful in the investigation or prosecution of criminal activity.

In the two-year period of 2009-2010, 116 women, children and men died in Indiana when domestic abuse escalated to lethal levels of violence. The goal of this report is to publicly acknowledge these deaths, learn from them, and implement strategies designed to prevent future violence.

This guide is part of a shared goal between NRCDV, state coalitions, and individual programs to find a better way to welcome women and other domestic violence victims -- many of whom had every aspect of life controlled by their partners -- into shelter where they could experience autonomy despite the constraints of a communal living environment. Lumarie stresses the importance of creating opportunities for young people to have caring relationships with adults as well as the importance of making space for young people to take action to create positive social change.

This paper notes immigrant women's language barrier to accessing services for domestic violence. The paper provides guidance to police, prosecutors, courts, corrections centers, and shelter programs for determining their obligations toward immigrant women who experience domestic violence.

This curriculum guide serves to contribute to the ongoing efforts by young people and their adult allies to analyze the root causes of youth violence and to create local solutions. It emphasizes the need for a holistic approach to addressing violence in the lives of young people.
