General Material
This fact sheet summarizes the layered needs and experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and more (LGBTQ+) Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander (AAPI) survivors and communities in the U.S., based on the current literature available. Although limited research has been conducted on this topic, this fact sheet present findings that capture the range of experiences, track current trends and prevalence rates regarding gender-based violence (GBV), and bring to attention to areas of need.
