Latina Portrait: The Reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act and Latinas
Publisher(s):This publication provides an overview of the original VAWA legislation and its subsequent reauthorizations in 2000 and 2005, with a particular emphasis on how it relates to domestic violence and sexual assault experienced by Latina and immigrant women. Additionally, it provided an assessment of the VAWA reauthorization efforts in 2012 and made recommendations for moving forward.

This report documents the key findings from the project.
