By providing U‐visa certifications and T visa declarations, law enforcement and prosecution officials add to their arsenal of crime fighting tools when immigrant victims feel safer coming forward to report crimes. This document provides a wide variety of background information on the U‐visa and T visa programs.

This report details the demographic characteristics of stalking victims and describes the nature of stalking victimization, including the number of offenders, the victim-offender relationship, and the frequency and duration of the stalking. The survey measured 12 types of stalking behaviors, incorporating both traditional stalking and stalking with technology.

In 2019, Casa de Esperanza brought together their Research and Policy Advisory Councils to analyze current realities, gaps in services, emerging issues, and culturally-specific strategies to address gender-based violence. This report offers the findings and recommendations from this roundtable. 

Research and evaluation can be powerful tools for community-based programs in the gender-based violence (GBV) field. However, these tools also have a history of being used to harm marginalized communities, overburden GBV staff and organizations, and reproduce systemic inequities. This webinar explores key strategies to conduct research and evaluation in ways that avoid replicating harms and instead center survivors and advance social justice.

Alaskan Indigenous communities are encouraged to use this toolkit from the Alaska Native Women's Resource Center as a guide for developing a plan of action that will include awareness, prevention, and intervention strategies.
