This issue of the BCS newsletter reviews the initial event of the Building Comprehensive Solutions to Domestic Violence Connecting to Build Comprehensive Solutions Institute.&The Connecting Institute Tampa Seminar, held November 2004, is the featured story. This main article summarizes activities, philosophy, and highlights of the Connecting Institute's kick-off gathering of 15 (fifteen) state teams.& Lessons learned are highlighted. The newsletter also includes a listing of relevant written materials.
