This graphic illustration explores collaboration as an effective strategy for addressing the root causes of violence while preserving and extending available resources.

Utilizing NRCDV’s Storytelling Framework, this story offers tangible impacts and demonstrated outcomes, illustrating how collaboration truly makes a difference in our communities. In addition to the "what" and the "why," this story also explores the "how" as an important opportunity to model the change we want to see. This story calls for dedicated time and funds to support meaningful connections that improve the health and well-being of our communities.

Drawing on the experiences and lessons learned from advocates leading impactful social change efforts across the country, this story was designed as a tool for making the case to funders and policy makers poised to invest in collaboration as a core violence prevention strategy.

This resource was developed by the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence in partnership with the Delaware Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Michigan Coalition to End Domestic & Sexual Violence, North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Ohio Domestic Violence Network, Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence, to whom the quotes within are attributed. The graphic illustration was conceptualized and designed by On the Right Mind
