  • The Convention includes 28 Articles detailing protocol for punishment, extradition, and governmental agreements to punish any person who exploits another person in instances of unlawful detainment coercion related to prostitution and detainment in brothels, etc.
  • Convention also aimed at extending limitations of the laws in aiding victims and punishing offenders (for example: disqualifying an offender from the exercise of civil rights in certain situations)
