This resource is intended to help the staff of domestic violence programs better understand the needs of Deaf/HOH victim/survivors and provide services in ways that appropriately meet those needs. Following a section on terminology relevant to Deaf victim/survivors, Part One considers communication options as well as communication and culture. Part Two deals with preparations required to deliver appropriate services and Part Three contains instructions for actual service delivery.
