The Sexual Assault Interagency Council’s mission is to ensure a consistent, collaborative and culturally competent response from the criminal justice system, health and hospitals, and victim service providers to encourage reporting and promote recovery. This protocol provides direction for professionals, counselors, law enforcement officers, prosecutors, and other individuals in Denver who interact with victims of sexual assault, and a framework for the evaluation of their efforts.
