DVAM 2026: With Survivors, Always

General Material
NRCDV Publications
Published Date
August, 2026

Last year, the Domestic Violence Awareness Project developed the theme “With Survivors, Always” for Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) 2025. Together, we explored what it means to be in partnership with survivors toward safety, support, and solidarity.

For DVAM 2026, we’re building on that momentum, with a deepened focus on action. Across the United States, we’re seeing violence minimized, cuts to the services families rely upon, and increased barriers to safety for survivors and their children. Survivors deserve action.

This DVAM, we invite you to join us as we move from awareness to action in order to meet our current moment. Now more than ever, we must stand with survivors, always.
