EITC & CTC Outreach Toolkits

General Material
Published Date
January, 2022

Three important tax credit expansions provide a historic opportunity to reduce poverty. These toolkits support efforts to help people who are newly eligible claim these payments by filing their 2021 tax return.

The EITC & CTC Outreach Toolkits contain messaging and media materials, social media content, call and text scripts, newsletter copy, and a flyer and mailer. You can save a copy of the kit to customize the materials with local information.

"Your involvement in EITC outreach efforts is especially critical as we seek to reach the 17 million working adults not raising children in the U.S. between ages 19-24 and over the age of 65 who are now eligible for the expanded EITC. The maximum EITC for this population has nearly tripled to roughly $1,500 and the income limit to qualify has increased to about $21,000 ($27,000 for couples married filing jointly)."
