This issue of the BCS newsletter profiles the community organizing and community-based organization (CBO) capacity building approach of the Community Empowerment Program (CEP) of CONNECT, Inc. of New York City. The main article describes CEP's method of community research, organizational relationship building, and linking and network facilitation of neighborhood organizations. Lessons learned are highlighted.
