This resource presents a vital framework for decentralizing domestic violence support by leveraging community relationships and survivor expertise. In response to recent multi-million dollar funding cuts and escalating high-lethality cases across Indiana, ICADV effectively highlights how informal, community-level support bridges the critical gaps left by formal service providers. The initiative's strength lies in its multi-pronged strategy: offering a structured 5-module "Grassroots Supports Learning Series" to upskill community allies, creating virtual connection spaces to reduce advocate isolation, and driving the survivor-led "Survivors Supporting Survivors" financial campaign.
