This presentation describes human trafficking and tits connections to sexual violence. Participants will examine what constitutes Human Trafficking and Modern Day Slavery, review and explore the connections between human trafficking and sexual violence, identify social services and legal remedies available to trafficked persons who are also victims of sexual violence, and explore models of collaboration to better respond to trafficked persons who have been sexually assaulted.
