In this law review note, the author makes the case for a “holistic approach” in the juvenile justice system to prevent teen dating violence perpetrators from reoffending. She discusses how teen dating violence can be different from what is traditionally thought of when considering domestic violence; the use of technology by teen dating violence perpetrators is especially discussed. She also discusses how the current legal system fails teen victims (and can be counterproductive to the goal of preventing teen perpetrators from reoffending) and recommends improvements.
