This issue of "Partners in Social Change" examines what it looks like to engage men in sexual violence prevention. Much of the work we do focuses on how communities can prevent sexual violence; therefore this issue seeks to examine men as a community that has the potential to help create social change.
Included in this issue is an article is written by a man in the movement who wishes to examine how socially constructed male privilege has shaped his own experiences and also examines how other men can be a part of this movement with sincerity, and two articles examining groups of men that are sometimes excluded from messaging: queer men and "Average Joe". Finally, we learn from a sexual assault program in Washington about the process of engaging men in their community.
