The discussion highlights differences between diagnostic frameworks, noting that the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) did not formally recognize hypersexual disorder, while the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11) classifies CSBD as an impulse-control disorder.
