Prevention and intervention services are often separated in intimate partner violence agencies. Yet, there are ways to provide direct services to survivors of intimate partner violence so that they have a preventive impact. This paper takes a feminist approach to understanding how prevention can be integrated into direct service as a core operating principle of intimate partner violence agencies. Theoretical frameworks are bridged to practice with many direct applications for service agencies
