Safety Planning for Older Victims

General Material

This page provides safety planning tools for both professionals and survivors of abuse in later life.

”Safety planning can benefit a survivor who is living in fear or being physically or sexually abused. Together, a service provider and a survivor jointly create a plan to increase the individual’s personal safety. The safety plan is survivor-driven and centered and based on the survivor’s goals, not the professional’s opinions and recommendations.”
