Excerpt: "The Transforming Communities Technical Assistance and Training Project (TC-TAT) designed this networking directory to identify culturally relevant domestic violence prevention practices in California communities. In developing Snapshots, our hope was to create a resource for domestic violence organizations that are looking for creative ways to reach populations that are often underserved. While we recognize that there are many unserved and underserved populations in California, Snapshots focuses in particular on ethnic/racial; deaf; and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) communities since our research showed that the majority of prevention efforts in unserved and underserved populations are focused on these communities."
