Overview: Provides holistic, victim-centered transitional housing services and related support services that move individuals into permanent housing.
Eligible Entities: includes States, units of local government, Indian tribes, and other organizations, including domestic violence and sexual assault victim service providers, DV & SA coalitions, other nonprofit, nongovernmental organizations, faith-based and community organizations, and culturally specific organizations with a documented history of effective work concerning domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking.
Eligible Activities: 1) Providing transitional housing; 2) Providing short-term housing assistance (e.g., assistance paying rent, utilities, security deposits, relocation costs); and 3) Providing support services (e.g., transportation, counseling, child care services, case management, employment counseling, and other assistance).
