Meeting the needs of vulnerable populations in congregate care settings, particularly domestic violence shelters and group homes for homeless youth, can be a masterclass in resourcefulness and thoughtful planning. This webinar, hosted by the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), will explore common themes and propose real world solutions to challenges that shelter advocates and youth serving professionals have encountered since the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) public health emergency.
Information and recently published resources from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), COVID-19 Guidance for Shared or Congregate Housing will also be discussed to support practitioners in their ongoing efforts to plan for and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic in shared and congregate housing. Speakers from the CDC and the ACF, Administration for Children, Youth, and Families, Family and Youth Services Bureau will present during this session.
