"I didn’t think people would take me seriously”: The Help-Seeking Strategies, Experiences, and Preferences of LGTBQ Survivors of Domestic Violence
Lesbian, gay, bi, trans, and queer (LGBTQ) people experience domestic violence at the same or higher rates than heterosexual cisgender people. This research report shares common stories and experiences of over 574 LGBTQ survivors at non-LGBTQ and LGBTQ-specific organizations.
