To provide insight into the experience of teen dating violence (TDV) for Latin@ youth, Casa de Esperanza reviewed 10 years (2008-2017) of academic research that examines TDV with exclusively Latin@ samples. This review revealed a wide range of rates on the prevalence of TDV among Latin@ youth and identified a growing body of research that examines several potential individual and family level risk and protective factors.

This study explores risk and protective factors in five Asian American communities: Cambodian, Chinese, Korean, North Indian Hindu, and Pakistani Muslim. These factors include cultural traditions, norms, attitudes and beliefs, particularly around gender roles, intergenerational family dynamics, intimate relationships, and approaches to child-rearing.

Islamic teachings from the Quran and Hadith provide a model for healthy relationships in which the objective is a tranquil environment for all family members. This toolkit from Peaceful Families hopes to provide resources and services that may be useful for survivors in this journey.

Launched in March 2021 by the Prevention Team at the Ohio Domestic Violence Network (ODVN), the Support for Stressful Times web-based resource page is designed to help folks deal with the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

In this report, FreeFrom shares lessons learned from 1,000 survivors who received a Safety Fund grant in 2020 about how to build an effective and inclusive cash assistance program that will work for them. Overwhelmingly, survivors expressed that they need a program steeped in flexibility and trust.
