This article describes a study conducted in a city in the Midwest United States of data on law enforcement response to Intimate Partner Violence situations since the city began a Coordinated Community Response (CCR) program. The study covers data from 1996-2010. The CCR program included law enforcement, the court and parole system, victim advocates, and victim service providers. The community had an arrest rate for intimate partner violence incidents much higher than the national average, with a conviction rate similar to what other studies have reported.
