Ignorance, Domestic Violence, and HIV Disclosure: A Fatal Combination

This article describes the many reasons it is important for policy makers to discuss the connection between HIV/AIDS and IPV and the ways abusers may use the survivor’s HIV-positive status as an excuse for abuse. It highlights the ways policy and general ignorance about HIV/AIDS is failing HIV positive people who are also living with violence in their lives.
