This document provides guidance to organizations that receive federal funds to self-assess their capabilities for other-than-English language services and planning for language assistance to clients with Limited English proficiency, as required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The document also provides a framework to help organizations develop a Language Assistance Plan.
