The DELTA FOCUS program provided focused funding to states and communities for intensive implementation and evaluation of intimate partner violence (IPV) primary prevention strategies that address the social and structural determinants of health at the societal and community levels of the social-ecological model (SEM).
The Ohio Domestic Violence Network received this funding, and contracted with two local organizations; Abuse and Rape Crisis Shelter of Warren County’s Violence Free Coalition (CCR) and New Directions of Knox County to implement strategies in their communities to prevent intimate partner violence. This report offers an overview of Ohio's IPV prevention efforts through the DELTA FOCUS program. Key prevention approaches included:
