Sexual Assault and Rape in the Military: The Invisible Victims of International Gender Crimes at the Front Lines

This law review note asserts that intra-military sexual assault is a serious gender-based human rights issue. The author argues that intra-military sexual assault can be understood as a violation of customary international law, and that considering it as such could help lead to reforms in how the prosecution of such cases is handled.
