UNFPA Strategy and Framework of Action to Addressing Gender Based Violence 2008-2011

This framework identifies eight priority areas in which UNFPA should strategically direct programming to address gender based violence:

1. Policy, Legal and Protection Mechanisms and Funding Frameworks
2. Data collection and Analysis
3. Focus on Sexual and reproductive health, including HIV and AiDS
4. Humanitarian Action and Beyond
5. Adolescents and Youth
6. Men and Boys
7. Faith-Based Networks and other custodians of cultural Norms
8. Focus on the Most Vulnerable and Marginalized
