This Just In: On Wednesday the New York State Office for the prevention of domestic violence is designating the day as “Turn the State Purple,” inviting everyone to wear the color to show their support.
You’ll also see plenty of purple in Downtown Troy at the Unity House Wednesday evening. It’s holding an open house for domestic violence services from 4 to 6 p.m.
There will be an award ceremony for local advocates leading the charge to end violence against men, women and children.
