Special Announcement: Usability Study

Tuesday, February 19, 2013

Do you work with individuals who are affected by domestic violence?

Could you benefit from having easy and efficient access to resources that might inform and support your work?

If so, please consider participating in this study being conducted by the University of North Carolina at Greensboro:

The Departments of Library and Information Studies and Counseling and Educational Development at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro are conducting a usability study of VAWnet, the online resource center of the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence (NRCDV). VAWnet aims to connect domestic and sexual violence service providers with useful research and information to enhance their practices.

The NRCDV is happy to support this study, which has been carefully designed to assess the usability of VAWnet and to explore how well VAWnet provides information and resources to assist advocates in their intervention and prevention efforts.

If you are interested in participating in the study, please complete this brief online survey (estimated completion time is 10-20 minutes). Participants will be given the opportunity to enter a drawing for one of two $50 store gift cards.

We are particularly interested in hearing from advocates and other service providers working at the local and state levels, please pass on this Special Announcement to others you think might be interested.
