BACK TO SCHOOL & CONTINUING EDUCATION As fall approaches, many of us begin to turn our energy to educational pursuits – whether we are going back to school after summer break, supporting children who are returning to school, or considering ways to broaden our professional knowledge through continuing education.

An advocate contacted the NSVRC asking for assistance in starting up a shelter for sexual violence victims and survivors in her community. She expressed concern that in her area, there were no shelter options specifically designed for sexual assault victims and survivors.
